This weekend I was blessed to spend an afternoon at Wanakee, the camp where I spent at least a week every summer after the age of 9 or so. I was also on staff for a summer there as well when I was 19 and that's the last time I've been there. I am going this summer for a week as a volunteer counselor so I was there for a volunteer training. I got to see some old friends and it was so wonderful to visit and enjoy the sun at camp. The bug bites are a bit annoying but a good preparation for my week I guess!
This is the farm house which is the first building you see when you get to camp. It really is an old farm house and as most of it is off limits to campers they all want to hang out here! =)
