Obama-Day!

WAHOO! So excited. What a wonderful day! The resurrection of hope for the future and faith in a leader. May our prayers be with our new President and his companions that they may lead this country and indeed the world into a better tomorrow!

Crazy Night with the Girls

Mark and Nicole left 4 of the girls with me last night for a few hours so they could go with the missionaries to teach a new couple. As you can tell the girls had a great time and were crazy! Super silly and entertaining!

New Years Eve at the Moore's

We had a great time playing 90's Edition Trivial Pursuit at the Moore's.

There were 5 of us all together. Jean and Mike, Michelle, Lisa and me. I have known all of these wonderful people since I was a teenager and it was so fun to hang out with them all again. Below are Jean and Michelle who are great friends and really funny together.

This is my friend Lisa. We were in the same site together for I don't know how many years when we were kids. We were a site at camp of all girls and there was a core group of us who were always together every summer for a week for a long time. We had not gotten to hang out since 1997 before this night so it was great fun to visit with her again after so long.

As you can see I was thrilled to have won my very first ever game of Trivial Pursuit!

This is the first of the Midnight group photo attempts, Michelle only had 1/2 a face though so we tried again...
And the second time Mike ended up looking like a crazy man. Guess you can't blame him, being surrounded by 4 insane women might have done it... See, he really is quite cute when he's not making crazy eyes!

Thanks for a wonderful New Years Eve night!

Trip to Minnesotta

So this is a bit late (usual for me, I know) but I wanted to post a few pics of my trip to Minnesotta this fall. Had a great time visiting my family and friends in the Midwest. Captions for picture are beneath them.

With my cute grandpa, Myron Frost. He is 94 and going strong.

Unfortunately here is my grandma, Myron's wife. We've missed her for 4 years. Like the fantastic fake sunflowers I got her?!
My mom's high school. My grandpa, Myron was a member of the first Senior class in this building. His name is in the cornerstone. So cool.
The park a few blocks from my grandparents house still has the same merry-go-round that I played on as a child. So fun!
A cool veterans memorial in Belle Plaine, MN.
I stayed with my mom's childhood (and current) best friend Kay's family. This is the pier behind the restaraunt where I had brunch their cute family.
With Jenn, Kay's daughter. She is just a bit younger than me and though we don't know each other too well we've known each other forever! She's so fun and sweet. We had a great time.
This is Kay. How cute is she?!
This is Bella, Jen's daughter. She is 2 and so fun!
