My Day Off

So, first thing today I got to go to Concord Hospital to meet my friend Dawn's brand new little boy. He was only born yesterday morning and he is so sweet and cute. His name is Wesley and he is in the 8 lb range so he is chubby and lovely already, the C Section helped too. No cone head here folks!

After a quick visit I headed back to Laconia to get Melody from schoolie and we were off to the Library to swap some books and read a bit in the boat. Got some cute shots of Captain Melody piloting the ship!

From there we had quite an adventure eating lunch at Friendly's. Melody is such a ham. As we were waiting for our food she was coloring this little picture on her menu. She was thinking of different dips to draw in the little cups. She did cherries for a sundae, then butterscotch (my idea) and for the last cup she says, "I know. Hummis!" What 4 year old thinks of hummis for a treat to color. She's so great.

Melody excited with her double cone, chocolate chip delight!

And ice cream catastrophe! Somehow I knew it'd happen. Well it didn't get our Melody down! She just ate the empty cone, backwards...

Home to Nicole's so she could take the big girls to dance. Aparently Melody was tired...

Meanwhile Baby has been having a great time watching her usual, Dora. The only thing's I've been able to get her to eat/drink is Chocolate milk (great suprise if you know the women in her family) and a hard boiled egg.

Well Melody is still sleeping, 2 hours later. Boy I really exausted that kiddo! Gotta get her up in a sec. So its really funny. Baby has been running around after eating that egg I mentioned. And everytime she goes by Melo she kisses her on the forehead. I'm quite sure that by now Melody must quite literaly have egg on her face!
